Finishing Touches

The counter top is going in right now.  Tomorrow the plumbing and the electric.  WOW, looks like we will  have kitchen tomorrow!!!

Some things just must stop....

On Saturday, I took a nasty spill in my kitchen.  I made a hard landing on my right arm (still sore), skinned my right knee -- I have not had a scab on my knee since I was a child.  My left thumb is sore and black and blue and my left ham-string is very achy.

Time for healing.  I am making progress, but I have learned at my age a fall like that is not in my best interest!

A busy week

Aunt Sis turned 92 years old on Wednesday, May 30.  She is still sharp as a tack, but the wine just seems to go right to her head!

Last  night Liddy graduated from Braden River High School.  Traffic and parking were awful, but we made it and she graduated!

We had a night to remember afterwards.  We did not get out until 9:30 or so and then rode right into NY style traffic getting out of the parking lot then crossing the bridge over the Manatee River with 1 lane shut off.  We decided to go to the Olive Garden but when we got there it was closed.  My next bright idea was Applebee's but there was a wait and it was karaoke night which made it extremely noisy.  Next we tried Chick-fil-A, but they too were closed.  Mickey D's was open, so we feasted on awful late night fare then went home and fell into bed.  A real night to remember!
